“Single Cup Coffee Shop”- Using Bulk Supplies

Granmattino, Brio, & Colibri
These three brew systems are the best single cup brewing systems we ever tested.  They really seem to do it all.  They make…Great Espresso!  Great Coffee!  and Much More!  There are so many choices, you feel like you’re at your favorite coffee shop! Yet, they are affordable by brewing one cup at a time using bulk products. These machines need very little servicing from your staff.

Why are you calling them a “Coffee Shop”?
Why does coffee from a coffee shop always seem to taste better?  Because you don’t have to brew it yourself, it’s so easy.  You get to choose the flavor, size, and each high quality frothy delicacy is a delight to your tongue.

Your ‘coffee-bot’, works for you, without the employee expense of a barista preparing your coffee, or the overhead cost of a store.  Technology has already replaced many other jobs, and now it has hit the coffee industry.

Why else should you consider a single cup bulk brewer?
Choices are huge - Choose from Espresso, Café Latte, Café Hazelnut, Cappuccino, French Vanilla, Hazelnut, Vanilla Nut, and French Coco w/Vanilla, Hot Chocolate with milk all from the same machine.
Keep your coffee station clean - Traditional office coffee service with glass pots, or thermal brewers, requires multiple product packages scattered all over the countertop.  The single cup brewers provide a clean uncluttered approach to coffee.
Why is the coffee so good? - This is is an automated espresso brewer capable of blending coffee with other selections creating exotic coffee drinks.  Espresso is a small ‘puck’ of finely ground coffee put into a small cylinder, which is then brewed under pressure.  Many coffee experts consider espresso a superior method to extract the very best from your coffee beans.
How do you make a regular cup? -  Regular coffee requires extra water added to an espresso making an “Americano”.  Americano is a wonderful European approach to robust regular coffee.
Freshest! - The coffee is the freshest because each cup is individually brewed.
Petty product theft is eliminated - All products are kept locked inside the brewer.  Traditional coffee set ups are too conveniently packaged, and sometimes coffee products find themselves in someone’s pocket walking home.
Training is FREE!  -  Mastercraft trains one or two of your employees about basic machine maintenance. A day convenient to you will be scheduled for the training. Your personnel will just have simple cleaning, stocking, and waste removal to keep the system operating smoothly.  The single cup brewer is a very high capacity machine and you may find that it may go a whole week before someone needs to service it. Water filter systems on each brewer will be replaced on a regular basis as volume levels indicate.

Which Single Cup Machine is Right for You?

Granmattino
(+)  The Granmattino really does a nice job with the feel of a coffee shop.  It is aesthetically powerful with its gray metal front and illuminated display.  Then it delivers on the ‘coffee shop feel’ by allowing you to choose from one of 3-cup sizes.  The retail trend today is towards the larger cup and this machine is happy to oblige by making up to a 24 ounce cup.  It has the tallest cup drop area, which allows people to use their travel mugs without first using a different cup and then transferring it to their travel mug.  It has large product canisters like the Brio, and it has the largest coffee grounds bucket, which means it can go the longest before it needs to be serviced.

(-)  The negative would be that it has fewer selection buttons than the Colibri or the Brio.  But all three machines are still mixing the same 5 products, and there is a limit as to what you can reasonably do with them.  Lastly it also has the highest lease cost.

Brio
(+)  The Brio is probably the most flexible of the three machines.  It can be programmed to have the largest number of buttons.  It cpwill automatically drop an 8-¼ ounce cup when you push a selection button.  If someone puts a mug in the cup drop area, it has a sensor that knows not to drop a cup.  It is the only machine to have a sugar canister ‘built in’, which means a sweetener does not need to be put on the counter in the coffee area.  The ‘built in’ cup dispenser and sweetener means it is the only machine to be completely self-contained. (Presuming you do not use an artificial sweetener.)  It has a lot of features for a mid-price lease of $100.

The Brio is capable of charging for a cup of coffee.  It can be outfitted with a coin changer, and it can even have a dollar bill acceptor put on it.  It also shares the largest product canisters with the Granmattino, with a midsize grounds bucket.

(-)  A limiting factor with this machine is the cup drop area.  It is the shortest and keeps someone from using his or her travel mug.  The 8 fluid ounces in a cup, is small and frequently people may want a larger cup.

Colibri
(+)  The Colibri is our value leader when it comes to a lease cost of only $75 per month, while still making the same great cup of coffee.  It has the same number of canisters as the Brio and up to 11 menu buttons.  Plus, it makes a decent size cup of coffee by going up to 12 ounces.

(-)  The limiting factor of this machine is that it has the smallest product canisters, and grounds bucket, which means the client needs to service the machine after 60 cups are brewed.

Conclusion
All three brewers make a great cup of coffee and will really take your coffee service to the next level.  Mastercraft wants to be certain we use the right machine for the right application.  Drink and enjoy!
